In the game of Untitled, a Storyteller is the person primarily responsible for organizing the game in which player characters will exist, explore and find adventure. This person is responsible for selecting or creating the world, setting the standards by which gameplay will occur, overseeing challenges and combat, and guiding the story from milestone to milestone.

Untitled is flexible enough that adaptation of most off-the-shelf adventure paths and campaign settings developed for other games are easily converted for use with the system, incorporating the unique Untitled character development system. Many off the shelf adventures or campaign settings are developed with a particular game system in mind, but in most cases it is only a matter of converting some of the relevant monster, creature or item data between systems; the core story, non-player characters (NPCs) and other components stay largely intact.
