Vision and Light
Races with normal vision are able to see in darkness with a light source. The light source will determine the radius of vision. A common torch provides a 20-foot radius, while a lantern might provide 30 feet and a candle just 5 feet. Creating light as a Constructor results in bright light, illuminating a 60 feet radius.

Some races may have enhanced vision, which typically comes in one of two forms:

Darkvision: The ability to see in gray scale when in darkness at up-to a 60 feet radius with no other source of light. Entities with this ability typically see normally in regular light.

Infravision: The ability to see heat sources at up-to a 60-foot radius with no other source of light. Entities with this ability typically see normally in regular light.

Low light vision describes the ability of most races to see and distinguish colors so long as there is a dim source of light, whether that be in shadowy darkness caused by a moonlit night or a candle.
